“Energy Reform in Mexico: Implications for the Energy Sector”

Our speakers explain the energy reform that was recently approved by the Mexican Government and its implications on the Mexican Power Market. It will focus on the expected changes, on the new regulatory framework and the opportunities that arise from this reform.

Brett Perlman is President of Vector Advisors, a management consulting firm that provides management consulting services to telecommunications and energy clients. Prior to his current role, he served as Commissioner of the Public Utility Commission of Texas from 1999 to 2003. Perlman was the only publicly appointed official to serve throughout the entire Texas electric restructuring process and therefore has unparalleled insights into the Texas electric market.

Peter Nance is an experienced executive who has worked in energy sector restructuring in a variety of capacities. He works with ICF’s Houston Energy Team, examining major trends in the sector and working with clients to develop new business offerings using strategic planning and market analysis to effectively leverage their real competitive advantages.
