Stephanie Kroger

Stephanie A. Kroger serves as CEO and President of Hunt Energy Network L.L.C. (HEN), where she leads the company’s strategic vision and oversees its growth within the dynamic energy sector. Since 2019, HEN has developed over 30 battery storage projects across ERCOT, which it currently owns and operates. Under Stephanie’s guidance and leadership, HEN continues to expand, operating a robust network of distributed energy resources across ERCOT, providing asset development and management, and resource scheduling and revenue optimization services.

Before joining HEN, Stephanie spent over 30 years as a distinguished energy attorney at Andrews Kurth LLP and Eversheds Sutherland LLP, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the competitive power landscape in Texas. Her broad experience includes not only regulatory advocacy and compliance, but also transactional expertise in both wholesale and retail power markets. Throughout her career, she has represented a diverse clientele—including large retail customers, power developers and lenders, retail electric providers, electric utilities, power marketers, and governmental entities—in all facets of power generation, scheduling, procurement and delivery.

Stephanie graduated summa cum laude with a BA from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she currently serves on the college’s Board of Trustees. She earned her JD with honors from Columbia University. Stephanie resides in Dallas, Texas.
