Austin March 2019 Luncheon

"Navigating the Maze of a Thousand Retail Plans", Jesson Bradshaw, CEO, Energy Ogre

Though online registration is now closed on-site registration will be available as long as space allows.

Our speaker Jesson Bradshaw will discuss the emergence of a buyer’s agent for residential consumers in Texas and how Energy Ogre is assisting deregulated customers in determining the best electricity plan based on how they use electricity.  Topics will include what a buyer’s agent does for a customer, how Energy Ogre helps its clients when selecting and managing its retail electricity choices, and future vision of how a buyer’s agent can play a role in demand management to facilitate elasticity of demand.

Jesson Bradshaw began his career in the mid 90’s trading power in the WECC, ERCOT, and SERC before taking commercial responsibility for Dynegy’s midwest and southeast generation portfolio. In 2003, Mr. Bradshaw co-founded Fulcrum Energy.  Fulcrum’s focus was based upon commercially managing generation resources nationwide with a particular focus on ERCOT while having both generation assets and LSE companies in its portfolio. Following a sale of the retail businesses in 2011, Mr. Bradshaw co-founded Energy Ogre in 2013.  Energy Ogre is an electricity agent/management company using applied technologies to scour the market and make sure their members are always in competitive plans that make the most sense for how they use electricity. Energy Ogre manages the entire contract process, including renewals, and handle any issues that may arise - saving our members time and money. Energy Ogre is a private organization headquartered in Houston with 62 employees.
