This is the tenth meeting of a series of breakfasts to be held in Mexico City under the auspices of the Gulf Coast Power Association (GCPA). In this breakfast we will discuss the

Ing. Marcos Valenzuela Ortíz
is Director of the Wholesale Electricity Market Administration of the National Center for Energy Control (CENACE), whose duties include the implementation and operation of the first Wholesale Electricity Market in the country. He has more than 36 years of experience as a public servant in the Mexican electricity sector, he held various positions in the Baja California Control Area (ACBC) of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE). In 2012 he received the State Quality Award from ACBC and was elected member of the Board of Directors of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC), as representative of Mexico-CFE from 2009 to 2014. He is an Electromechanical Engineer from the Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana, with a Master's degree in Electrical Power Systems from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL).

Non-Member Pricing: $47 USD/850 MXN
· Pre-registration closes at 12 noon Thursday, October 25th. If registration is closed, walk-in registrants are welcome on a space-available basis at the event. There will be a $5/90 MXN surcharge for walk-in registrants.
· Government employees are encouraged to contact us directly for guidance on registration.
