Speakers: Beth Garza​ Director, ERCOT IMM Potomac Economics
Join us for lunch and hear our speaker Beth Garza's review of key market outcomes from the State of the Market report for 2017, which is expected to be released in early June. She will also share a hint of what may be in store for 2018.
Beth Garza has served as the Director of the ERCOT Independent Market Monitor since September 2014 after serving as the Deputy Director since 2008. Beth is responsible for monitoring market participant activity, evaluating wholesale market operations and recommending improvements to the wholesale market design. Over the course of her thirty-five year career in the electric utility industry Beth has held a variety of leadership roles in generation and transmission planning, system operations, regulatory affairs and market design for both regulated and competitive entities. Beth received her Engineering degree from the University of Missouri and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
