This is the second meeting in a recurring breakfast series organized under the auspices of the Gulf Coast Power Association (GCPA) to be held in Mexico City. This meeting will be in Spanish.
Our speaker, Marcos Valenzuela, received a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the ITR of Tijuana and a master's degree in Electrical Power Systems from UANL. He has over 36 years of experience in Mexico’s electricity sector. He held several key positions in the Baja California Control Area of Comisión Federal de Electricidad. He was elected as a member of the Board of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) as representative of Mexico-CFE from 2009 to 2014. He is currently Director of Administration of the Wholesale Electricity Market of CENACE where he leads the implementation and operation of the wholesale electricity market in Mexico.
