Join us at our annual luncheon hosted with UT Arlington. John Gartner is a Director leading Navigant Research’s Transportation Efficiencies program. He has overseen custom research and consulting engagements for the world’s leading automotive companies, technology vendors, utilities and infrastructure providers, and is responsible for content management, key industry and client relationships, and forecast model development for the transportation research team. Gartner’s key areas of expertise include electric vehicles (EVs), EV charging infrastructure and integration into the grid, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, and advanced batteries. Gartner's presentation will focus on EV Opportunities for Utilities, covering how the current trends in vehicle electrification and the development of a EV ecosystem will impact utilities, and the threats and opportunities derived from the emerging EV business models.
