"Issues & Solutions: Siting of Power Facilities near Military Bases"

The Department of Defense approached the Governor’s office with concerns related to siting generation and transmission facilities near military bases. The Governor’s office has worked with military officials as well as market participants at ERCOT to develop modifications to the generation interconnection process to provide advanced notice of development of projects to the military. The presentation will provide information about the concerns, the process, and the potential solutions for the military.
