Enchanted Rock has pioneered a service offering in Texas that enables commercial, industrial and institutional customer to achieve much higher levels of facility electrical reliability for a small fraction of the costs of traditional diesel backup generation ownership.   The delivery system is an ultra-quiet, ultra-clean natural gas microgrid that achieves much higher power density than previously possible and provides buffering services to the electric grid operator to help integrate wind and solar.  Come learn about how this new innovative service offering and technology is changing the Texas marketplace.

Our speaker Thomas McAndrew founded Enchanted Rock Ltd. in 2006 and currently serves as the President and CEO.  McAndrew brings over 34 years of experience in energy asset management ranging from large, complex nuclear plants to small distributed generation. Prior experiences include VP of Trading and Risk Management at Calpine, CEO at Progressive Power Solutions, VP of West Power Trading at Statoil, and Director at Enron. McAndrew has also served in U.S. Navy as Lieutenant. He holds B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

POLICY FOR NON PRE-PAID LUNCHEON REGISTRATIONS IN THE EVENT OF A SOLD-OUT LUNCHEON: In order to accommodate walk-ins at sold-out luncheons, any registrations that are not pre-paid during the online registration process will be held only until 11:55 AM for the original registrants. At 11:55 AM, any available non pre-paid seats will be released for purchase by walk-in registrants. Seats will be allocated to walk-in registrants based on the time of the walk-in registrants arrival. If a non pre-paid original registrant should arrive after 11:55 AM, they will be directed to register as a walk-in registrant and will be reallocated a seat only after all earlier arriving walk-ins have been seated. SINCE MANY AUSTIN LUNCHES SELL OUT, GCPA STRONGLY ENCOURAGES YOU TO PRE-PAY FOR YOUR LUNCHEON IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE YOUR SEAT.
